17 young women attended PeacemakeHers 2016 at Thinker’s Lodge. We were welcomed onto Mi’kmaq land by elder Catherine Martin. The weekend conversations explored different people’s experiences and the intersections of social justice issues among a diverse group of women. Long lasting connections were cultivated, as well as a greater appreciation for experiences of others.
